Michael “Double Clutch” Englert
Michael “Double Clutch” Englert is a seasoned boxer with a passion that ignited in 1981. Throughout his journey, he has fought in more than 90 amateur matches, honing his skills and determination. Today, he stands proudly as a professional boxer, boasting a record of 15 wins, 4 losses, and 1 draw.
In 2018, Michael took his dedication to the next level by establishing Saint Michaels Boxing Club. As the head coach, he not only trains professional fighters but also molds them into champions. His expertise and guidance have propelled numerous fighters to triumph within the ring.
His impact doesn’t stop there. He also serves as a matchmaker for Saint Michaels Fight Promotions, bringing together the best talent for exhilarating showdowns and making sure every card delivers unforgettable bouts.
For Michael, the gym is more than just a training ground; it’s a sanctuary where he finds solace and inner peace, making it his absolute favorite place to be. As he often says:
“The only easy day was yesterday.”
Antoine “Money Bags” Logan
Antoine “Money Bags” Logan is a dedicated coach at Saint Michaels Boxing Club and a proud 17-year veteran of law enforcement. Since beginning his boxing journey with Coach Mike in 2013, Antoine has become passionate about developing athletes through discipline, hard work, and the fundamentals of the sweet science.
Whether working with beginners or experienced boxers, Antoine is committed to helping each athlete build confidence, sharpen their skills, and reach their full potential. His dedication extends beyond the gym, as he regularly volunteers his time to mentor and train members of the community whenever he is off duty.
Antoine believes success is earned through perseverance and consistent effort, living by the motto:
“If it was easy, everybody would be doing it.”
Dane Higgins
Originally from New Jersey, Higgins is an eight-year law enforcement veteran and a boxing coach at Saint Michaels Boxing Club. A lifelong athlete, he competed in lacrosse and wrestling before training in boxing and kickboxing.
Higgins is passionate about helping athletes of all ages build confidence, discipline, and resilience through the sport of boxing. He believes the lessons learned in the gym extend far beyond the ring, helping individuals grow both physically and mentally.
Committed to serving his community both in and out of uniform, Higgins strives to create a positive, encouraging environment where every athlete has the opportunity to learn, improve, and succeed.
In the gym, his message to every athlete is simple:
“Keep your hands up, chin down, go to work.”
